Carnival

Saturday 18th of February

On Saturday Carnival in Porreres is celebrated sa Rua with a parade of costumes and dance. On Tuesday the "Cataracta Mundi" is made, burial of a doll that symbolizes carnival; It is a procession of endolate people accompanied by the municipal band and ends with a toast of sardines.

Domingo del Ángel - Pancarities in Monti-sion

It is the day when people usually walk on foot to the sanctuary, where religious and popular acts take place. Traditionally, as is done in many other towns, these neighborhoods are used to eat the last bakeries of Easter.

Sant Roc, Landlord of the town

August 16th. It is the landlord of the town. The festivities last for 8 days of various activities: parades, competitions, dances, religious acts and "Popular toast". On the occasion of these supervisory celebrations, Porreres hosts some of the most renowned and most popular summer concerts and summer concerts in the park of Hereveta.

Is the day after the Autumn Fair. It is a more relaxed day where most of the stalls are from local Porreres businesses although there are also some stalls from the previous day. It is a good day to get to know the local businesses whilst it is quieter and more relaxed.

Autumn Fair

Held on the second Sunday after the feast of St. Luke in late October or the first Sunday of November. The fair has grown in popularity every year and has become one of the busiest in Mallorca. It is an opportunity for local businesses and artisans to display their goods and services. It is a festive day on which the town is filled with craft stalls, animals, farm machinery and vehicles. Apricot Fair

In 2013 the first Apricot Fair was held to celebrate the quality of the Porreres apricots. The exhibition is held on a Saturday afternoon in June. The date is chosen depending on the ripeness of the fruit as no two seasons are the same. The fair begins at 18:00 and there are opportunities to buy several different varieties of apricots. Visitors can taste various sweet and savoury dishes prepared by the bars and restaurants of the town. There is a competition to find the best cakes and other apricot products. Ecological Day

With the arrival of the first good days of spring in April, Porreres hosts a day organized by the Ecological Farming Association of Mallorca (APAEMA) in collaboration with the town of Porreres.

Sales Fair

This has been organized by the Association of Traders and Businesses of Porreres since 2010 and is held twice a year, once in February and again in September. Porreres shops and businesses sell their products at discounted prices.

Music Fair

Since 2006 this has been held every two years on the third Sunday of May. At the last fair on 17 May 2015 there were 1,430 square metres of exhibitions and sales of related products and numerous music performances.
