The City Council is aware of the effort that it entails for each family to separate the waste, which is why we want to offer you all the necessary support so that you can continue with this task that, besides a benefit for the environment, is a saving important economic for each family.

In fact, we want to inform you that for the second consecutive year and due to the increase in recycling, the City Council approved a new reduction in the waste rate (BOIB number 157 of December 23, 2017). With this new reduction, it has gone from the 176.01 euros paid in 2015, to the 131.31 euros that will be paid in 2018, which represents a cumulative drop of 25%, and a saving of 44.70 euros for family In the case of housing in rustic land, the rate drop has been 30%.

To continue improving the service we remind you that:

- It is mandatory to remove waste in front of your façade.

- The organic matter must be removed within the poal.

- Recyclable waste must not be placed in the waste container.

- The rejection should be removed in the red bag that we have provided. If you finish, you can collect more at the Town Hall at a price of 0.8 euros the bag, amount that is used for the collection and incineration of the waste it contains.

- People who have dogs, can pick up a second free bag showing the card that guarantees that they are vaccinated and carry chips.

In case of emergency, you can go to the green park on the road to Felanitx. There you can also leave bulky waste, household appliances, oil, etc. Check the schedules at the town hall, on the phone number 971 647 221 or on the web www.porreres.cat.
